Bareksten Botanical Gin
Bareksten represents the essence of Norway, in both taste and character – dark, wild, breathtaking and dramatic. Clean flavours inspired by ancient craft traditions are the soul of Bareksten`s botanical wonders.
The gin is distilled in small batches which gives a very potent product with a sublime, fruity expression. Bareksten gin has a traditional base line but you will find hints of wild blueberries, lingonberries, rhubarb, elderflower, mint and an additional 20 different ingredients fresh from around the distillery.
Nose: Lemon peel, lime zest, orange zest, lime pith, citrus, piney juniper, floral juniper, roses, floral, herbal, mint, tarragon, sage, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, hops, earth, spring rain.
Palate: Lemon peel, citrus peel, deep citrus, lime pith, lemon seeds, juniper, floral juniper, violets, rose, lavender, black licorice, eucalyptus, curry leaves, jalapeño, spices, baking spices, pink peppercorns, creamy mouth feel.
Finish: Citrus, citrus rind, lemony, rose petals, floral, mint, basic juniper, chestnut, cardamom, coriander seed, peppery, black pepper, earth.
